Currently working on a new shoot and cover game, incorporating a one stick joystick with a stop to shoot mechanic that’s popular on mobile. The focus has been on gameplay first and trying to implement a fun game with a solid foundation I can build upon.
Basic AI behaviours
- AI will shoot at your last know location (allowing you to sneak and shoot from another more safe position)
- Basic movement: patrol, roam area, move to on visual trigger
- AI patrol and hunter will search your last know position and return to patrol
- AI melee hunter, seek and stop at desired melee range
- AI will act surprised if attacked from behind and react slower to attacking
